Co-curricular activities help students develop skills beyond knowledge of subjects. These activities improve students’ learning experience at school, which improves their attendance at school. The normal curriculum can only go so far as to teach and educate students about academic theories. Our co-curricular activities like creative writing, drawing, painting, debating, quiz classes and National Day celebrations. They are especially important as they provide opportunities for students to work in teams, exercise leadership, and take initiatives themselves. These experiences bring social skills, intellectual skills, ethical values, personality progress, and character appeal in pupils.
Art & Craft activities are important in childhood education as they help inculcate a sense of achievement and pride in children, boosting their self-confidence and self-esteem. Art & Craft contributes to the development of fine motor skills, dexterity & hand-eye coordination, self-expression and socializing skills. Also, it enhances creativity, sharpens skills of decision making, and enriches memory & visual learning. So, we consider Art & Craft as a subject rather than a co-
curricular activity.
